Updating This Web Site

You might have noticed, I haven't updated this site in almost three days, which is a little unusual for me. Normally, I update everyday, sometimes several times a day. Keep in mind though, that blogging is NOT my job, and I don't get a cent from it. I don't even run advertisements (although I may someday in the future).

Unlike many other bloggers, I already have a full-time job in the US military as well as a family, and they are always the first priority. Still, when I created this site I decided I was in it for the long haul, and therefore, if you don't see updates right away, rest assured, they will come soon. Whenever I go on vacation I always announce it, and heaven forbid, the day I decide to shut down the Shield of Achilles, I will announce that too. In the meantime, enjoy.

Incidentally, unlike other web sites, this web site:

1) Doesn't try to sell you anything, nor requires any registration.

2) Doesn't include any pop-up ads, or any links to other websites other than ones I have checked out myself and trust (trust the site integrity, not necessarily its content).

3) Doesn't run any "spyware", or anything else that might be malicious to your personal computers. I even got rid of the popular sitemeter html code because they started running spyware that slow people's systems down.

I also work hard to keep the layout as simple and easy to read as possible. If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve it, I'm all ears.
