Three of the Fort Dix Six came across the Mexican Border
Oh Boy,
Geraldo isn't going to like to hear this one...
If this is true, it is a big deal. From Fox News:
Three brothers charged in the alleged Fort Dix terror plot have been living illegally in the U.S. for more than 23 years...Brownsville's motto is "On the border by the Sea". And looking at the map, you can see why. So unless they made the unlikely journey of sailing across the Gulf, the only other way to get into Brownsville is to cross the Border with Mexico. If they were only small children, obviously they came with parents, who would also be illegal aliens.
A federal law enforcement source confirmed to FOX News that the three — Dritan "Anthony" or "Tony" Duka, 28; Shain Duka, 26; and Eljvir "Elvis" Duka, 23 — also accumulated 19 traffic citations, but because they operated in "sanctuary cites," where law enforcement does not routinely report illegal immigrants to homeland security, none of the tickets raised red flags.
The brothers entered the United States near Brownsville, Texas, in 1984, the source said, which would put their ages at 1 to 6 when they crossed the border.

Haven't the media and the open borders crowd told us again and again that there is no evidence that terrorists have ever come across the Mexican border? (Ignoring, of course the thousands of incidents of drug smuggling and narco-terrorism every year).
I don't know. Maybe they will still try to claim that. Since these men were only small children, between the ages of 1 and 6 at that time, I suppose technically they weren't terrorists then. Obviously, our corrupt society made them that way in the meantime..?
UPDATE 5/12/2007 09:26:00 AM: The father of one of the suspects was arrested on immigration charges. Of course, they never bothered to arrest him in the past 23 years, and wouldn't be doing it now if it weren't for the publicity of this case. This article also confirms they entered the US through Mexico.
